Rocky and Alender Dallas spent a weeks (Sept) in Victoria, British Columbia and had a great time. Alender was the guest of honor at a tea given by the ladies of the grand chapter and Rocky , who is the represen- tative of the Prince Hall Grand Chapter of Washington, to the Grand Chapter of British Columbia &Yukon, received the Past Master degree along with the Grand High Priests of Alberta, Manitoba and Alaska. Rocky was given the honor of presiding over a chapter in Canada. Rocky traveled to Mt. Home, Idaho to do some degree work and establish a new chapter. He initiated the grand master of Oregon and the junior warden. Carl Gipson is still at home and not going any place He wishes everyone a good year. First order is to give you the good news. It is good and the bad news is keeping us around to send you the good news. Charles Johnson and family will be going, in October, to the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff to receive the honor of being placed in the Hall of Fame. He will be in the Law and Government section. What a great honor to an outstanding person. I understand the Johnson clan will be there in full force. I guess this mean that I need to get permission to speak to him. I was so excited while talking with him, and he was so cool as always. I was also thinking, what a great choice by the University. Congratulation Sir Charles. I talked with Yvonne F. Taylor Beatty and found out her family was doing ok. She was very happy about her grand children. Her grandson ,who is a musician, was on the Jimmy Fallon show. The granddaughter has worked with several groups in the dancing field. I understand she is a leader in her field and I cant do the type of writing that she really deserve so I will say she is great. They are from New York and I could tell from Yvonne’s conversation that she was very proud of them. Good luck to them.
